This product is attractive , especially if you do not rely on Active Directory for proxy auth . There is a commercial plugin available.... But this plugin is a monthly subscription (PER USER) ....  which is very sad .

I am ok to pay a monthly subscription (corporate use) for antivirus , real time black list   etc ...  . but to query an LDAP/ADirectory ....  squid is doing this for free with a perl script  ... . And no Active directory integration is not changing each months, no need to fully rewrite this plugin.

Why not a one time buy for this plugin ... . ?  . I agree it will generate less incomes.

Other big actors on the market are proposing default Active directory integration . Their product is maybe more expensive ... but if you take in account the monthly cost generated by this plugin for a large network .. ... .

Attractive product. Marketing/sales side has to brainstorm a little bit.
